The Atrium Gallery was funded through an Educational Enhancement grant from the Portsmouth Public Education Foundation.
The Grant was awarded on August 27, 2003. The Atrium Gallery Project received $450.00 to create a gallery and host openings for students, parents, teachers, administrators and community members throughout the school year.
The Atrium Gallery Committee was established and met for the first time on Octover 22, 2003. During the meeting the grant was described, future meetings and opening dates were established and officers were appointed.
